Privacy Policy

The controller is the developer of Type & Speak. For any question about your data you can write to typeandspeak@use.startmail.com.

• Usage and diagnostic data: how the app is used, crashes and errors, app and operating system version, device model, approximate geographic area.
• Purchases: the purchase of the app is handled by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive or store your card details.
• Texts you type or paste: they stay on your device and are used only to generate the audio. We do not store them and we do not read them.
• Email address: only if you write to us for support, and only so we can reply to you.

• Apple App Store — distribution, updates and payments.
• Analytics and diagnostics (e.g. Firebase) — understanding which features are useful and fixing bugs.
• TestFlight — if you join a beta version, to collect device logs.

Each service applies its own privacy policy. We do not sell your data and we do not show ads in the app.

If you turn notifications on, you will only receive them for alerts related to the app. You can turn them off at any time in your device settings.

We use appropriate security measures to prevent unauthorised access, and we keep data only for as long as needed for the purposes described above, for example until you delete the app or ask us to delete your data.

You can ask at any time to access your data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to its processing, or receive it in a readable format. Write to typeandspeak@use.startmail.com and we will reply within 30 days. If you are not satisfied, you can contact the competent data protection authority (in Italy, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali).

The app does not knowingly collect data from minors. This policy may be updated: the version always current is the one published on this page.
